1. About BZ Recovery

BZ Recovery Ltd (company number 16621690) is a vehicle recovery and transportation provider serving Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes and surrounding areas. Our registered office is Bedford Heights, Brickhill Drive, Bedford MK41 7PH. This is a registered office only and is not a customer drop-off or collection location.

2. Services

Services may include emergency breakdown recovery, roadside assistance, car and van recovery, local and longer-distance towing, vehicle transportation, trade vehicle movements and accident recovery where appropriate. The exact service will be agreed when you contact us and will depend on vehicle type, condition, location, access and availability.

3. Quotes and bookings

Quotes are based on the information supplied at the time, including the vehicle, collection and destination addresses, condition of the vehicle, access, distance and any special requirements. Please tell us about locked wheels, steering or braking faults, accident damage, low ground clearance, missing keys, oversized vehicles or difficult access before confirming a booking. If information is incomplete or circumstances change, the price may need to be revised before work continues.

4. Customer responsibilities

• Provide accurate vehicle, location and contact details.
• Confirm that you own the vehicle or have authority to arrange its recovery or transportation.
• Remove valuables and personal belongings before the vehicle is moved.
• Tell us about hazards, modifications, damage or mechanical conditions that may affect safe loading.
• Ensure lawful and reasonable access at the collection and delivery points.

5. Roadside safety

Your safety comes first. Follow police, highways or emergency-service instructions and do not remain in an unsafe position to wait for us. If there is immediate danger, injury, fire, a collision blocking a live carriageway or another emergency, call 999 before contacting BZ Recovery.

6. Arrival and journey times

Any arrival or completion time is an estimate. Traffic, weather, road closures, incidents, demand, vehicle availability and the circumstances found on arrival can cause delays. We will make reasonable efforts to keep you informed, but time is not guaranteed unless expressly agreed in writing.

7. Loading and transportation

We will use reasonable care and appropriate equipment when recovering, loading and transporting a vehicle. Pre-existing damage and the vehicle’s condition may be recorded. Where a vehicle cannot be moved safely in the way originally expected, we may propose different equipment, a revised price or an alternative arrangement.

8. Payment

Payment terms will be confirmed when the service is booked. Unless agreed otherwise, payment is due when requested and before the vehicle is released at its destination. Additional work or waiting time caused by inaccurate information, restricted access or circumstances outside our reasonable control may be chargeable where explained to you.

9. Cancellations and failed attendance

If you need to cancel, contact us as soon as possible. A reasonable call-out or cancellation charge may apply if a recovery vehicle has already been dispatched, has arrived, or cannot complete the service because the customer or vehicle is unavailable, access is not possible, or important information was not disclosed.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Subject to those rights, BZ Recovery is not responsible for loss caused by inaccurate customer information, unsafe or undisclosed vehicle conditions, items left in a vehicle, or events outside our reasonable control. These terms do not affect your statutory consumer rights.

11. Website information and external links

We aim to keep website information accurate, but service descriptions, coverage and availability may change. Links to third-party websites are supplied for convenience and do not mean that BZ Recovery controls or endorses their content.

12. Privacy

Personal information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. We use contact and booking information to respond to enquiries, provide services, manage payments and meet legal or operational requirements.

14. Governing law
